Clarissa Manuel Foundation
Clarissa Manuel Foundation is a public non-profit institution focused on preventing the further deterioration of the community through educational and enrichment programs. The foundation is named in honor of Clarissa Manuel (1952-2009) who was a Golden Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a Silver Life Member of the NAACP. She was instrumental in pledging her life to improving services offered through Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Treatment Centers, Infant Health Programs, AIDS Awareness and Preventative Measures and Physical and Mental Health Services within the community.
