Visions of H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Progress Everyday) Service Awards will be given to community trailblazers and young scholars who are actively working within the communities where Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Long Beach Alumnae Chapter services and are making a difference in the lives of its residents and beyond. The awards will be presented at the Visions of H.O.P.E. award program on Saturday, April 20, 2019.

Long Beach Alumnae Chapter awards academic scholarships to:
- Graduating seniors attending a school within our service area who will attend a four year college/university fall 2019;
- Students currently enrolled in a community college who will be transferring to a four year institution fall 2019.
Applications are based on financial need, grade point average, and school/community involvement. The deadline is January 10, 2019.

I would like to welcome you to the website for Long Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a public service organization founded on Christian principles by twenty-two college-educated black women on the campus of Howard University on January 13, 1913. Long Beach Alumnae Chapter became the 763rd chapter of the Sorority and was chartered by thirty-one visionary members and Long Beach on February 23, 1986.
